Youth Volunteer Action Training
What
It’s fun to volunteer, but it’s even more fun and rewarding to plan and lead your own projects for your peers and other volunteers! Geared towards youth grades 7th - 12th, this training covers volunteer management and developing your own volunteer leadership skills and style. It also covers the key steps to planning a service project, recruiting volunteers, and working with the community to make your projects a success.
Who
Youth volunteers in grades 7 - 12 wanting to develop their own opportunities for people to give back, individuals looking to develop leadership and project management skills, agencies not sure how to prepare for episodic volunteers, and employees responsible for planning their company’s volunteer projects.
