Serving on a nonprofit Board of Directors or participating in Committee work is a short-term commitment with a long-term impact. You will have the opportunity to shape the direction of an agency, the success of a project, or the outcomes of new initiatives. When choosing to serve with a Board or Committee you will know from the beginning what the time commitment is, how often meetings occur, and what is expected of you.
