Whether you are working, parenting, in school or retired, HandsOn offers you a variety of ways to get involved while meeting your schedule and interests. You decide your schedule: whether one-time project or ongoing support; one hour or more; days, evenings or on weekends; alone or with family, friends or co-workers as a group.
When you volunteer through HandsOn Mid-Willamette Valley, you join people from all backgrounds and experiences. You get a chance to explore issues that shape our community and develop your leadership and job skills, among other benefits of volunteering. Get connected. Get more done. Have fun. To get started – 3 easy steps!
Step 1: Create a free Volunteer Profile
This profile will allow you to express interest in volunteer opportunities with 160 local agencies, sign up for HandsOn Projects, and receive monthly Volunteer Action Alerts so you know what new volunteer opportunities are available in our local community.
Step 2: Search for Opportunities
Search for opportunities that match your interests and availability.
Step 3: Start Volunteering!
Let the organization know you want to volunteer with them by expressing interest through the online database. They will contact you shortly and you will begin volunteering!
Do you want to try volunteering but you are afraid to commit to too much too fast?
We can help you set up a one time service project for you and your family or friends. We will connect you with a “Done in a Day” project that requires no previous experience or training. This is an excellent opportunity to learn about a local non-profit and have a memorable, meaningful experience with your family or friends.
