Summer Project Calendar

Want to volunteer but don’t know how to get started? Check out our Summer Project Calender!

-Projects are just 2 to 4 hours long
-Families, large groups, and individuals are all welcome
-Each project is led by a trained HandsOn Team Leader who will make sure you have a great experience!

How Does it Work?

Browse:

Look through the calendar below.  You can read a brief description of the project by clicking on the title. 

Sign Up:

Click the “Sign Up Now!” link.  You will be directed to the 1-800-Volunteer database.  If this is your first time to the database, you will need to create a free and private volunteer profile.  Click the link below for full instructions.

If you already have a profile, you can log in by clicking “Sign Up Now!”

Show Up:

A HandsOn Team Leader will greet you at the service project.  This person is there as your liaison with the agency hosting the project.  They are there to make sure your needs are met and that project goes smoothly. 

*We understand life happens and sometimes volunteers can’t make it to a project.  If you are not able to come to a project you registered for, just let us know.  Call or email the main contact on the opportunity posting as soon as possible.  Please help us help you have a great volunteer experience.*
