Marion and Polk Counties’ Community Homeless Connect
![]()
Community Homeless Connect is a one day resource fair focused to connect our homeless neighbors and those at risk of becoming homeless, who live in Marion Polk County with as many sources of direct support as possible. To bring County, Government, and Community groups together who’s mission is to help our homeless neighbors and provide information, services and resources that help to bring hope and respect one person at a time. Community Homeless Connect is completely staffed by volunteers. We need 250 volunteers to offer this important resource. Everyone can find a way to help, for an hour or all day. With a special skill set, setting up, or serving meals. Learn more about specific needs and sign-up today.
All volunteers must complete a liability and media release form. Volunteers under 18 need parental consent on this form. Volunteers must be at least 12 years old, and all volunteers between the ages of 12-16 must be accompanied by an adult. For some of the volunteer opportunities, all volunteers must be 18 or older. Please read the age requirements within each volunteer opportunity to determine what is appropriate for youth volunteers. Please print, sign, and bring to your first volunteer shift.
